Hey all!
So, I've actually been her for awhile, but I haven't had the proper time to make an introduction for myself. Better late then never, no?
Many of you don't know me, some of you do. No worries though.. I don't bite... often >=)
Right, So my name is Lissie, I go by the name "Serephinex" Or "Serephine", yet I'd love it if you just call me Lissie. Serephinex is kinda odd in conversation, dont'cha think?
I go by Serephinex on Deviantart.com
I've been making images for about... 2 years or so. My serious work, only since last march. Before, it was just layouts for howrse (i used to go by gallopinghooves over there to whomever used to play/plays howrse) But I quit my account due to wanting to really get into my art. Plus, the imposters, stealing of artwork, etc.. were really getting to me!
Sim games are TIRING!
Oh! And about actual me...
So, as I said my real (nick)name's Lissie, (real name is Elisabeth.)
i'm 15 and i'm just an average teenager. (Although... I must admit... teenaged drama can really get to my head and at this point, i've been told I go all mature and stuff. Ick ;D)
I'm a muslim, converted when I was 10 (well, my mum did and I kinda just followed along.) I'm not a terrorist, I promise. (ofcourse, anyone could would say that... >=)
I love people, I have an easy time getting along with most of them... i'm quite the bossy boots and I love to be a leader (heh... I can follow along too.. so no worries, Zo/Zombie ) I generally will just follow the crowd, but I've been told I have a way of 'standing out' (What do i do with THAT!?)
Oh! I live in Canada, On the west coast. I recently spent a year in Kuwait, the dry heat was my company much of the time, and the freezing cold (im used to the cold.. but it's a different kinda cold over there) the other part. I was homesick constantly when I was over there... Now, i'm back in Rainy Vancouver and I love every minute of it.You learn to respect your surroundings when you've been away from them for too long. (When it starts to rain here, when it starts to pound down rain, I've taken to going out and getting myself soaked, catching a cold, and grinning the entire time. Not used to that much, lol!)
I love horses (most girls do), but i've never owned one of my own. When I was in Kuwait, I had 2. Shams and Farrah were both Arabians that I owned. Farrah was a sweety, Shams, who was just a colt, was a pain in the ass. He left me a good bye kick when i left in the shape of a hoof-bruise on my thigh which after 9 months, the imprint is still there. Well, yeah.. Horses are basically my area of artistic expertise.
I do a lot of photography, and I think this is what i'd love to do for the rest of my life in terms of a career. My aunt was a photographer and she did wonders for herself. (She's now an art teacher, and she doesn't do much photography anymore, she actually sold off her camera equipment, poor kid =(
Oh, have I mentioned I love twilight? Yep.
I don't obsess over it unless it's a topic of discussion, though
Kay... If you've read all that, you're amazing and I applaud you for that. I think i'm pretty much given you my lifes story. No stalking please (i seem to have written enough for this to be possible... w/e.)
Thanks all! I'm loving ImagineThat.
