[ `ABOUT YOU! ]
Name: Goldfish Age: 18 Contacts: brinkofdawn@gmail.com A Little Bit About You: I just graduated High School about a month ago and am going to college for Art Education. I enjoy riding my horse, creating art (both online and on canvas/paper) singing, playing guitar and such of the like. I am very patient and am a people pleaser, so its my goal to give people what they want. Why You Want To Work Here: The only way to continue to get better is to keep working! And what better than to push my creativity to the limits than by getting challenges from other people. I love creating things with what information I get, and then seeing them love it and use it. How You Found Us: In The Negative Affiliates Link Any Questions: nope!
[ `ABOUT THE IMAGES! ]
Experience: I'd say about 4 or so years... but off and on Program: Paint Shop Pro 9 Have You Worked Anywhere Else? If So, Where?: Hoofprints In The Sand (which is now closed) and Surreal Studios Website/Gallery: memoriesofold.deviantart.com Which Images You Will Be Working With: Anything, I like horses the most, but i also enjoy people, and i have a little experience with cats and dogs. Your Style: ummm.... my style. hmmmm... i am very fantasy minded, so i like to create things that are mystical or magical in their own way, even if the creature isn't magical themselves. that doesn't mean the picture is fantasy though. i also like conceptual things, such as creating a picture from lyrics or a poem, or writting lyrics to go with a picture. i like dark and emotional sometimes too because it brings out another side of creativity.

Answer: no, no, no. only those under resources and stock images, or if the person gives permission for that particular image. 3.) Will you be able to fill at least 2 orders a month here at Imagine That? Answer: yes yes, that is very easy! i could do 2 a day if i needed to, depending on my class schedule ;D.

I say trial goldfishie dear. On your cutouts it looks like you missed a few spots? Or maybe it's just my computer oO Which tool do you use to cut with? Pen tool, background eraser, etc? If Twiilie or one of the other mods doesnt reply in a few days we'll go ahead and put your trial up on the trials board.

Mm, yeah, I'm thinking trials too. (btw, Anna, I think maat told me she'd do trials again?)
On your cuttings, the sides are jagged and if you look closely there are pieces left behind. What tool do you use to cut things out with? Maybe we'll try experimenting with a couple until you find one you like that works the best? And, also, how do you do your manes and tails? Do you smudge or draw? I think you need to use a tinier brush size and smudge/draw in some tinier strands so that the manes and tails don't look quite as clumpy as they do right now. Also, try using a solid brush instead of a brush with the soft sides on a much smaller size for them, that should do the trick and practice a bit like that. (= In a couple of your images, it looks like you stretched the horse when you resized it a bit too much? Like in Wiccan. If you do have a subject that's too small for your background, shrink the background but don't stretch out the subject, and vice versa.
But good job remembering a reflecting in Jolene and the colours in Once Upon A Dream. (=
I'll PM you the password to the trials board once maat or Anna or someone else gets your trial up. Once you complete two trials and we see improvement in your work, you can become a personalizer and start completing orders for people! (=

my biggest struggle is manes and tails, but lately i have been really working at it to develop them better. i will definately take your suggestions! thank you so much for your helpful critique! i usually use the background eraser tool. i think the problem is my mac doesnt support the paint shop pro 9, so i can only use it on my main computer (which is ancient and the screen is cracked) so i often miss splotches. I will keep in mind the background adjustment as well. thank you for considering me further, and even if i do not get in, i will use your advice to continue developing my skills! ;D

Goldfish, your trial is up on the board. Post there with any questions or issues you might have so I can address them in a timely manner, being that I rarely (if ever) check the applications board.

Aw, that sucks! I hate working on computers with cracked screens. Haha. And I love macs, but when programs don't work like that... grr. Lol.
