A Little Bit About You: Alright, so I’m a little crazy. So fair warning. xD Alright, I’m not that crazy (unless you have cookies or iced tea). But yes, I got involved in the RPing world seven years ago and I haven’t left since. RPing turned into HTML, and HTML turned into Image Editing. I’ve dabbled with images over the years, but lately I’ve really started to develop a style and get into it. So here I am.

Why You Want To Work Here: Well I just got back into the lovely world of coding/image making. It’s my new addiction and really gets my muse going. I looked around at some places but IT just seemed really friendly (and high quality).

Experience: So I’ve been doing Photoshop for about five years now. My recent re-entry into the image world happened about four months ago. However I have plenty of photoshop experience since it’s my real life work ^_^

Program: Photoshop CS3

Have You Worked Anywhere Else? If So, Where?: I haven’t worked anywhere else, however I did take lessons at No Rain Academy about five years ago.

Website/Gallery: Um…no gallery but I’ll post some examples at the end of this app.

Which Images You Will Be Working With: I do a bit of everything. I tend to use abstract images that fit the character rather then depending on find a horse/wolf image that fits. However I’ve never done any felines.

Your Style: Well my images alternate between white and black for some reason. I’m a big fan of coding, so I tend to think of how I’m going to code something before I start designing. I’m also a fan of getting to know the character a bit so I can choose something that is a bit abstract rather then always having to put in a picture of the animal.

Quiz Questions:

1.) Can you use images off of www.flickr.com? If so what’s the proper etiquette to use images from there?
Answer: Flickr is tricky. Since those images belong to the people who post them. However, if using an image from Flickr it would be proper etiquette to first message the person and ask permission to use the photo. If they deny use, then I certainly wouldn’t use the image. However if they approve use, it is important to give a photocredit at the end.

2.) Are all images from www.DeviantART.com available to a personalizer’s use? Explain why not if you answer no.
Answer: No. Deviantart is a display area for artists to show their work. Therefore, unless you have direct permission from the artist, images shouldn’t be used. Unless of course there’s a Creative Common license. In that case, it’s still nice to give a link back.

3.) Will you be able to fill at least 2 orders a month here at Imagine That?
Answer: Yuppers.

Ok so here is what I have to say. Your coding work is indeed very lovely. I like it a lot. But your images I don't like as much. But when you start coding them into a design they look tons better.

I'm going to propose this. Would you mind just being head of the coding department here on Imagine That? I'd happily add a coding category and requests boards for you. Just PM with all the details and how you'd like for me to have it set up.

I like that idea. My only question is, can I reapply for image editing later once I'd had some more practice?

Just a suggestion somewhere in the form you may wanna add how they want it coded. Some suggestions: How big do they want the image, and how big do they want the text box inside the image, ect. Then if they want it centered, off to the right, left, or whatever. xD Just a few two sense from me. <3
