Quiz Questions:
1.) Can you use images off of www.flickr.com? If so what’s the proper etiquette to use images from there? Answer: I’ve never used it, but I learned recently that most Flickr users have a D.A. account. If they are listed under “creative commons” and you follow whatever rules the user has and you find a way to contact them and notify them of the image use, then yes, you can use images from Flickr. Again, only under creative commons and follow their rules. And giving them on-image credit, of course. Then you can use it. 2.) Are all images from www.DeviantART.com available to a personalizer’s use? Explain why not if you answer no. Answer: Nope. Pretty much the same as the answer above. Has to be under the stock image category, has to follow their rules, and has to present notification. If it’s not listed as stock, and can only be used on D.A., then for this site’s purposes, you cannot use them. And if you use them, you have to give credit. That’s big. 3.) Will you be able to fill at least 2 orders a month here at Imagine That? Answer: Sure, whatever. I don’t see why not. I can do them on E.D. and do my own, what’s two more?

Haha.. I prolly should've got this yesterday, my apologies. (=
In your cuttings, it seems like the sides are jagged and there is a dark line around the subject? What do you use to cut out, and if its a certain tool what are the settings?
In Fluorescent, Maybe a little bit of lowering opacity on the text on the fence would have made it a bit less... in your face, I guess? And I like the positioning on the fence, but it's a bit awkward how it overlaps the horse like that.
The effects on the horse in 'Ghost' look very nice and give the impression of a ghost, And although I probably might've made the text slightly more green or smaller, it looks good. The angling of the horse is a bit... strange though, it doesn't really fit in with the angle of the background. Like, the background is shot from the front, but it looks like the horse's image was shot from slightly underneath. In a manip of this style we want the impression of one image being shot from one angle... If that makes sense. Lol.
I really, really like "Never want to see". The lighting, the effects and the overall idea of the image were very well done!
The colouring of the wolf in 'Nephilim', the positioning of the text (what I mean is that you put the text underneath the wolf when it says 'descent into hell' and I think it fits nicely. Haha) are both very well done. But the front leg of the wolf is a bit awkward? Like, is it supposed to be missing a foot, or did it not have one in the image and you forgot to put a new one on? If it's missing one, maybe add a bit more highlighting and shadowing on the leg to give more of a round appearance and some dark red on the bottom, for dried blood and shadowing purposes?
Anyway, I'm also gonna go with accepted. (=

I use the pen tool to cut, and have been complemented very highly by quite a few people on my cutting abilities. Perhaps if you tell me which ones you’re talking about a jagged line would let me know if it was cut or blended (in which case I didn’t cut, and it’s the background from the original image. Or if it was saved as a GIF it was the file being compressed [that was before I learned how to keep transparencies with a PNG.]) I’ve never really had a problem with cutting, which was always the one thing I’ve never had to work on.
As for the wolf, it was the breed. It has “They CAN, but doesn't mean they always do, have strange bone growths that hinder rather than help what would otherwise be a normal function. An example would be spikes out of the back - this could really put a cramp in scent rolling.” So the wolf had a bone growth out of its wrist and elbow joints. I guess if you didn’t know the story of the breed it would be confusing.

Ohhh, I see! I was referring to the skeleton and the horse, but I just now noticed that they were .gif's. I was actually wondering why the sides of the horse looked so clean in the actual image and so jagged in the transparent one. You'd think I would have noticed... Haha! (I use the pen tool, too, btw. One of my favourite ways to cut things out.)
Ah, I see. Thanks for clearing that up. (=
