[ `ABOUT YOU! ]
Name: Shady Age: 18 years old Contacts: PM only. A Little Bit About You: I have made manipulations for 6 years now. I graduate WWP North June 19 this year, and the ceremony is at Rider University. When I am not working on school work, I like to make manipulations and take pictures. My latest gift? Nikon D40x and while it is a beginner's camera, it suits me well. I take great pride in my abilities and I am always willing to learn more and show others more. Why You Want To Work Here: So I can personalize. How You Found Us: Google Any Questions: no

Your Style: My style is the way it is because I constantly pushed myself. The more people turned me down, the more I pushed to prove them wrong. That kept me going for a while, until I realized horses were a part of me, and that I could best express my feelings and emotions through them. While other people see manipulation as something they "just do", it is more than that to me. In fact, design itself is more to me. I lean towards artistic and conceptual. Realism did not come into play until I started taking pictures.

Although you may not like me, I do have to do my job, and there's no mistaking that you're fit to be a personalizer.
Colourizing looks good, your manes and tails look good, you do markings well and I do like the way you do your wings and horns. In "Memories", I like the overall idea, but that light leg there throws me off a bit... Maybe try darkening it to get it out of the way? It just kinda, sticks out and although I realize the piece is conceptual, the background is so realistic which is why the leg looks awkward to me. And, I suppose, it's that black part there on the leg that makes it look strange to me. Lol. I've always been a big fan of your "Peel" image, especially the unique way in which you did the wings. Very nice. In "Chelsea Smile" the colourizing as well as the mane and tail look great, and so does the water on the hooves, but, I feel like there should be a bit of a bigger splash from the impact of the horse on the back right hoof. It's a bit controversial since the water looks like it's so low, but even small puddles can make some pretty big splashes if you hit them right. I LOVE the way you did the reflection, the mane and tail and the texture in "magic IS real". I'm a big sucker for things like that. The light from the horn bounding along the water is amazing as well.
I'm going with accepted, though you'll need one more moderators opinion before we can make you a personalizer.

Merci boucoup, to the both of you.
Twill, it's not that I have a personal dislike for you,I don't dislike you at all, I just found it a bit pestering that out of all of the journals I posted you had commented on the ranty one. My fault, as I should not have posted it in the first place, but at the time many things were getting on my nerves and frankly that was the last straw. I dislike the person who began commenting after you. I understand friends sticking up for friends, but there is a line where the conflict should have stayed between the both of us and not you, person x and me.
No hard feelings, I promise. I understand what it is like to read journals ranting about something a little insignificant.
Thank you both for the acceptance! I look forward to working alongside the both of you. ^_^ And thank you Twill for the advice. I will make sure to keep it in mind in my future works. (Memories I have the same issue that I had with Moonlit Serenade of Fire. I'm playing around with darkening hooves, and I'm keeping my eyes out for hoof reconstruction tutorials ^_- )

Lol, I'm not really one for commenting on things that AREN'T ranty, since they don't really make me wanna just up-and comment, so I only comment on things that are interesting or make me want to comment, and rant-y things do that, I guess? I know, she should have stayed out of it, I was just a bit surprised that you would block me for that one comment since I didn't think it was that bad(don't get me wrong, I'm not completely stupid and I was pretty sure you would get a little annoyed but I didn't really think you'd block me? Idk. I'm not one for blocking people unless they full-out spam me with comments or insult me intentionally, but everyone is different and I don't really know you. Lol.) and I guess she just thought it was her... time to attack?
Anyway, I'll try to keep my nose out of other people's business from now on. (even though I say that every time something bad happens and I never learn. Maybe I finally will this time...)
Lol, no problem, just doing my job. (= Hmm, hoof reconstruction? Like, redrawing the hooves or...?
