[ `ABOUT YOU! ]
Name: Kae Age: 18 Contacts: Element of the Equine , Threads of Separation & email ziorra@comcast.net A Little Bit About You: I am a bit insane but not to the point that people get annoyed with it, but laugh at it. I love colors especially yellow. I use the smilie XD way to much, but every time I use it it is totally applicable, I swear. I am in college, a lowly freshman actually, even though most of my friends are upperclassman [insert XD smilie here]. I spend a lot of time in Photoshop. Almost to much time, but how else am I suppose to learn anything about it? I haven't had a class in it yet, lol. Latest accomplishment as of yesterday: changing the color of a horse or anything really -ish really happy about that- ^^ Why You Want To Work Here: I want to be at a place where I have the resources to get better. I am also planning to switch my major from mechanical engineering to graphic design . I want to make sure that I am ready for the work it entails, plus I can't stop making these things. They are addicting, no? lol How You Found Us: I was on Warriors Wonderland's website to see if they had accepted my website's affiliate request. I saw your lovely banner and clicked it, and now I am here filling out this application. Any Questions: Not as of right now, but I do have a comment : I have a stock account - vasida-stock =]
[ `ABOUT THE IMAGES! ]
Experience: ...three months... XD Program: Photoshop CS4 Extended and Paintshop Pro 8 Have You Worked Anywhere Else? If So, Where?: Element of the Equine and Threads of Separation graphic studios Website/Gallery: Vasida and Yaih deviantART accounts Which Images You Will Be Working With: I have only done equines, because I have only been a part of equine rp sites, but I seriously want to do other things, too. I know how to make things furry! That makes a good cat manip right? Sorry, but I really want to do something new, lol. Your Style: I like to stick with things that are more natural, so i do minimal background manipulation. I figured out smudging about a month and a half ago, and I have to say it is pretty useful at times. So, even when I am smudging things, I try to make it realistic, like a picture. I guess that comes from my photography background.
[startranthere] I am also anal about credits for the pictures. I have turned down people because they request that I use pictures of unknown origin. Ummm, no thanks I need to give credit for the pictures. That is also probably influenced by my photography background. I would like people to know that it is my photo that is being used and be able to spread the goods around. I mean it is the photographer's work, too. And, yes, I did even put the credits on the cutting examples. XD [/endranthere]
ahem, sorry about that ^^
2+ Cutting Examples: 5+ Completed Personalized Pictures: order = most recent to less recent 2+ Examples Of Best Colorizing & Blending: Quiz Questions:
1.) Can you use images off of www.flickr.com? If so what’s the proper etiquette to use images from there?
Answer: Yes, they can be used but they must be a part of the creative commons list. I would, personally, not just say a picture is from flickr like must people do, but put the user's name up that way proper credit is given and notify them that I have used their work. I just think that is the proper thing to do when using other's images. I also don't want to get sued >.<
2.) Are all images from www.DeviantART.com available to a personalizer’s use? Explain why not if you answer no.
Answer: No, because all work is copyrighted. The only pictures that can be used are the ones that explicitly say stock and have rules attached to the photo, and the photos under the creative commons license.
3.) Will you be able to fill at least 2 orders a month here at Imagine That?
Answer: On a normal basis, I do that much a week for all my sites, so I think I can safely say yes ^^

Your images are gorgeous Kae. :3 You pick lovely color schemes and I adore your bodily smudging with your horses. Your cutting is clean and you have nice tack removal. The only thing I can see that needs to be worked on is your hair smudging.
I think we can help you tons if we put you on trial in the trials board, and we will give you a task, and lots of help with hair smudging or rather drawing and smudging. I'll PM you the information to the trials board here shortly.
Thanks for applying. <3

Yah, I totally agree, I have actually been working on the hair issue =/ . I don't have a tablet handy [well I do, but it is kind of on the fritz XD ] so I have been working on short cuts for it. The picture that I am working on currently, has a focus on the hair and I also have to recreate a tail, in which I have deleted twice already x3
Thanks for the review =] I can't wait to start making things oh and learning things, too! weeeeeeeee
