Finished! Probably not what you were expecting... I wasn't too sure what I was expecting to tell you the truth-- I just let the creative juices out of the pen and let them run free (very dangerous thing to do!)
But I like the turn-out. I like the mane. Third 99% painted mane/tail and I think I'm finally improving out of the barbie-look.
I splotched a bit of red here and here, but it turned out subdued on account of the softening layers I used to tone down the horse in accordance to the background. And I used a different background to the ones you supplied... they weren't working. And I added a flock of birds and a couple of wolves. Sorry for the lack of Narnia D8
And please link the small image back to the deviant page, one of the stockers only allows dA use.
