This has been on my mind for awhile now, and I REALLY want to get the site going. I just don't know how well it'd do, and the idea is so wonderful, and the characters are gorgeous...I just don't want to make it, cause it'd be such a huge project, and then have it go down the drain. None of my RP sites have ever done well, and IT is really my only site that's ever gone anywhere!
I'd appreciate hearing what other people think of it...and if anyone on here would be interested in helping me with it / joining it when it's complete. It's going to be such a unique site and I’ve put the most thought ever into it.
Here is some of the information on it...
Site Name: Fajarah - Translates To: Wicked Doers ( in arabic )
Site Theme: Elemental Horses.
Time Setting: Egyptian Period.
Important Points:
1.] Arabians are royal, all other breeds are frowned on and enslaved.
2.] Elemental Pharaohs rule Fajarah.
3.] Aarifs are Elemental Pharaoh's prodigies.
4.] Adibs are normal Fajarah residents.
5.] All names are to be in Arabic and all key words or important terms are supposed to be in Arabic.
Introduction:
As I Foretold You, Were All Spirits, And Are Melted Into Air, Into Thin Air.
XX We choose this route; a route of no return, a route that doomed us to be mortals with immortal powers. It's a shame we forget who we were, and take on these roles of mighty beings. Our bodies and personalities transform into what is needed to resemble a beast that has a fist with catastrophic power. We didn't mean to choose it, we were told it was our destiny, and the words from Pure Egyptian tongue, and the persuasive traditions were influential. This is how things toil in Fajarah. How life has imprisoned itself to be. No one in Fajarah is guaranteed to live the path less traveled by and the first step you take is the longest stride. At least you’re understood. Everyone has the same empathies. Come amuse yourself in what's abstruse to the universe, and in which only we a small divot on that map can ever appreciate.
XX Here at Fajarah we live under the rule of Gods -- Gods with elemental powers. They are much like us, but mortals with immortal powers. We call them Pharaohs. Their names being their element of ancient arabic tongue. All the residents here have been taught to worship them since birth. We know them as our saviors, rulers, and the source of our births. Without them we'd be nothing. Without them we'd have no way to live. They teach us how to live in happiness; they teach us how to live in disgust. Those who deem themselves violators against code of the Adibs ( servant to the Gods ) get killed.
XX Of course we can't feel the same emotions because we are all cursed unto our own elements. From the moment our lives start we decide upon which route will be our d**ned route. Our Gods are generous and have forever been, giving us the option of choosing between eight different elements. It's a fine gift to live under the rule of an element. To control, manipulate, live and breathe under what you've always desired. But be careful of your choice for when you choose your element you become it yourself. There is no altering your decision, there is no option of suicide to rid yourself of a wrongfully chose burden. We are mortals, with immortal powers. Only the Pharaohs can strip us of life. Only they can control what we can only go through once.
XX But beware here there is no after life there is only this life that's ill fated you. Once it's over you'll be cast out into an abyss of outstretching darkness. Most refer to it as being trapped inside a dream with no creativity for you've been ruined into a realm of honest, skilled darkness. You see the night sky so barren and free from stars? The blackness we are destined too swallowed them, and it's ready to feast on us. We refer to this darkness as Black Gold. It's so sweet and acidic.
XX Our Gods are generous but what's fairness? Our Gods never really taught us such a thing. Arabians are the royal blood, the breed that gets everything under the sun. They were blessed, and a lucky selection honorable of being purged from slavery. Egyptian land worships them from head to toe. They were the creation of the Gods here in order to create a perfect untainted sanctuary. Those who aren't of pure Arabian blood are used as slaves; they are aliens, infected mutts. How did such a disaster end up here on our Egyptian land? They are not welcome and that's why we enslave them. They are our property for we did not condemn ourselves to a realm with impurity. We want it perfect, we had it perfect and we will do what we need to to sustain that perfect.
Elemental Gods:
Double, Double Toil and Trouble, Fire Burn, And Cauldron Bubble.
XX Gods are the one's who control everything that happens in Fajarah. They decide who lives and dies, and who sacrifices them self if the time comes when a Pharaoh dies of old age. Yes it's an intimidating world, and it's brutal but one worth experiencing nonetheless. Do you dare attempt and live the life of a God? Are you willing to sacrifice something simple, and to achieve something greater? Well we hope so because Fajarah is in a time of need. Fajarah needs you to make yourself an Elemental Pharaoh. We have many Elemental Pharaoh positions open and they are just calling for you. But before you decide on doing something devilish and sinful let us explain to you some of the details that make these Gods perpetual.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
XX They are damned. Damned but worshipped to the point they are grand. They are temptresses that have mastered the ability to keep everything in perfect turmoil.
XX Elemental Pharaohs are mortal Gods with Immortal powers. They are hosts to an element of their own, and with this element they can use it to their desire. They take after their element and are controlled by it. Their personality, looks, actions, even their mind are submissive play toys to the element's traits.
XX If you care about memories this route particularly is not for you. Gods remain the same, even when inactive and without a host. When an equine takes on the role of a God they loose their complete prior memory. They are stripped of their memories and take on an absolute new characterization. You could have been the sweetest thing, so delicate and fragile but if Shadow calls for you to live the new life of a sinner with be prepared to have no comprehension of who you previously were.
XX In order to keep everything in balance each Elemental Pharaoh needs a host at all times. Because of this each God has the power to choose their Aarif. Aarifs are apprentices to Gods, they live side by side with their God until the time comes they must take over after their God dies from old age. With this each forfeit chosen takes on the role of their Elemental Pharaoh. This is how we keep the Gods present at all times on Fajarah.
XX When a God courts the Aarif of their choice an Aarif does not have the option to turn down what they have been offered. If an Aarif turns down the offer the God must strike them down with death immediately. We can't have the mortals without immortal powers being as selfish as the Gods, now can we? Absolutely not therefore it's a choice to take on the role of an Aarif or be thrown into Black Gold.
XX Elemental Pharaohs cannot die from any outside source. They cannot die in a fight; they cannot kill another Elemental Pharaoh. They are stuck as they are until death of old age weans them away from their powerful role, and haughty life. Of course they can become horribly wounded and severely impaired by an outside source but death by anything other then age is never an option.
XX Breeding among the Elemental Pharaohs is forbidden. At the beginning of Fajarah the initial Gods decided upon this. It has remained a tradition and no one has ever dared try to break the tradition. No, they are not sterile but the filthy, cowardly and wicked doers just have never conjured up enough balls to ever do such a thing. It's immoral, and if something like it ever happened Fajarah would bust with pandemonium.
XX Anything that's not Pure Arabian Blood is looked at as a slave and seen as a rodent. They are something that must be annihilated, but Gods will never kill them. They'd rather torture both their body and minds.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
XX Are you valiant enough to submit yourself to the following? Are you immoral enough to take on the role that has no second guesses about taking someone's life? Are you ready to forget and never learn again and never have an inkling of who you were before? Then hurry your ass up you precious accursed gluttons.
