Yay so I'm back from my vacation ... very late >>, and I just have this urge to tell everyone I know to never, ever, ever ride US Air.
Yep so I was supposed to get on my flight, as planned, at 10:55 PM in Philly straight to Houston right? Well they overbooked it by 20 people and they could only take a total of 79 people.
How the hell they overbooked /that/ much is beyond me but whatever.
I got there a little late because my connecting flight to Philly was delayed due to some snow drifts. (it was a prop plane ><) So they told me that I couldn't get on the flight because they were overbooked, and they gave away my seat. Even though it says that they start boarding on the ticket at 10:45 and it was 10:30ish...they decided to board early.
But wait! There's more!
They gave me that ticket for free then provided stay at a hotel then food then a ticket to the next flight the next day. I really wanted to go home so I argued with them until they finally just said pretty much to go away or they would get security.
The next flight was at 1:31 (yep odd time) PM the next day.
I got a phone call at 4 in the morning saying my flight had been canceled. And why?
Crew relationship issues >>.
What the fuck?
Also it occured to NO ONE that I might need a flight out so I had to call back wait for an hour and book my next flight which left at around 11 PM. I get there two hours early and as soon as they call my zone I rush up and was the first person to get in line. But wait, it just couldn't be that simple....my carry on didn't fit under the seat or in the bin above me. It did the past flight, but this one ohhhhh no.
I had to check it.
Now I'm in Houston and my bag is in Waco, Texas. Happy New Years US Air like hell I'm taking ya'll again -_-. I told the person I'd spread the news about how bad they are so I am =].
So there ends my rant...has anything new happened, maybe some news to cheer me up haha. A slightly more reason to reply what do you plan on working on his year?
