"A whinny had filled the now murky purple sky, clouds were finally starting to pass over the sun and everything was turning black. The leaves on the nearby trees rustled in a symphony of music, nature was so alive when there was nothing to stare upon. My optics shut as I began to imagine the colorful leaves begin to break way from their twigs and fall to the ground as they did every year. I wish I were a leaf, I told myself, without the slightest bit of humor in the voice in my head. I wanted to fall to the ground and decay with someone next to me. To be loved like the leaves loved the cool earth or rather the warm plantation that they could in bed themselves inside.
I heard the whinny again, not far, but not close enough to want to investigate too much. I simply recognized it as the call of a young fae. One seeming to wonder if they’re where any more bodices that where roam the land at this hour of night. Twilight. Dust was such a perfect time to meet a fae, I thought, then she won't be able to see the brute that lies nearby.
I finally decided that I better suck it up and go meet the lady for if I didn't it would just be another one to walk out the door without meeting the one that always got in the way before finding there true love. I always thought that maybe mares bumped into me so they would get the luck they need to find their soul mate. You priories think I'm kidding, well; as usual I plan to tell the truth. First there was Tiffany, I can't say much bad about the young white fae, just that she was raising my child with a brute that didn't plan on keeping her for long. There was also McHayden but then again she was abused and need the sympathetic type. HM, I guess it’s just my luck. Maybe there is no truth at all to my ramblings. I told my self and plodded my way up the mountain, my large barrel swing to my step, I wish I had taken a slimming relief before I went but there was no time. The maiden simple had to meet her so-called prince charming.
I rumbled a low call; I hoped she would hear so I wouldn't have to make my presence be known again. I rather had hoped she would come to me, but then again, I was never that lucky. In the shadows I could see a bodice stashed away in the long grasses. I tried to be a loud as possible as I stomped my way through the strings of green. Towers leaned forward in alert, my narls flared catching her scent in a wild breeze that weaved its way through my knotted black mane that portrayed little to no movement at all. My rusted hide was caked with mud and shoot but I was sure my appearance would have nothing to do with her judgment. I wasn't exactly what mares always dreamed about, I'm sure. I made a attempt to clear my throat but it sounded more like a colt learning how to tell if a mare was in heat or not. Excuse me miss. I paused before continuing. Are you alone?
I really had hoped I didn't sound like some short of freak but then again, I was so sure that everything seemed to fit together perfectly. I stopped dead about five feet from her laying spot. I didn't want to frighten her with my stocky, un groomed, irrational, appearance. I struggled to smile, although I was sure she couldn't see it through the dusty sky. I prayed that she couldn't see my OPEN Expressionof longing for someone to be near....."
