If I can find stock of a nice "white" horse.. do you think any of you can add a colored place on only it's ears? I have a character who's supposed to be a "War Bonnet" pattern Spanish Mustang. The War Bonnet pattern is a white horse with only color in a "bonnet" over their ears and the top of their head.

There's no such thing as a "white" horse. They are all called greys. Except of course, if they are perlino or cremello of any of the sort.

It's a variation of the paint gene asy.... >< If they are born without color pigment..how can they have been grey? So that makes all paints grey horses with colored splotches?  This is an example of what I'm talking about It's a paint that only has color on the ears.. this one is a Medicine Hat.. they have color on the ears, chest, sometimes down the back and on the rump. |

Oh lord. I KNEW I should have taken pictures of this horse at a horse show I went to with that coat color! I thought someone would need it sooner or later for stock but I second guessed myself! Darn...
I can search around for you Anna but I doubt I'll have much luck and if you'd like, I could try and colorize a horse to that coat color for you.

Instead of having the color in all those other places..it only has color directly on top of it's head and ears.

*cough* you could try the image finders *cough* we're bored ._. edit: regardless it's not at all hard to take a like white horse and just color the ears. edit 2: This is NOT STOCK I found it on Google as a reference. Is that what you mean?  |

Yes, that's it except for the colored tail. The one I've seen only had the colored ears.
