I really like the blood, especially on his hind left leg. I also like the effect of the dust around his body.
Um, I'd be careful with the strength of your brush when you're smudging the horse. You have a very smooth horse on a very sharp background, so the horse looks a bit out of place. The horse's forelock looks like it was smudged too straight-down. If I might ask, are you using a mouse or a tablet to smudge your manes and tails? Because I know from personal experience that sometimes it gets extremely difficult to give manes and tails that "flowing" feel using just a mouse. e__e
Other than that, I really like this manipulation (: It has a feeling of casual power that I absolutely love. The touch of adding the deer in the background adds some danger to the scene as well.
