It looks pretty good. I'd add a shadow(don't worry if you forget I do ALL the time...)
The front hooves look a little out of place, I'd use the perportion tool to fix it. At least thats what I do.... Hope this helps =]

More shadows on the horse would do wonders too, because the background has a lot of contrast and deep shadows. I'm not fond of the texture, but that's mostly personal taste. I fee like the horse's mane, tail, and feathers would feel frizzy instead of flowing - try a stronger/longer smudge brush perhaps? I don't know what program you're using so can't offer any specifics  Overall, though, really nice for just starting in manipulation. The composition is good and it's pretty balanced. ^^ |
