The only thing I'd say is a bit funky with this is the back end of the horse - if you look at where the tail meets the rump it looks a little weird, I'm not sure if it's the picture or if your cuttings a little skew-if. And if I were you I'd mess round with the splashes a little more all the "splashiness" is at the front of the hooves, it looks a little out? Other than that it's gorgeous ^^

i'm going to give it to you straight first, then give you some praise to end on a good note. ;]
irks
• the rump/tailend of the horse is kind of... harsh, and some of the background outline is still exposed. that can be removed simply by taking a soft brush (not too large) and stroking alongside the cutting to get rid of it.
• the reflection in the water is stiff, whereas the water itself is rippling and moving because of the fact that the horse is moving quickly through it. take your smudge brush and pull out the sides of the reflection to give it that 'wavy' appearance or, if you want to be lazy, go to filter > distort > ripple.
quirks
• overall, you've got a good eye for placement and blending. I'm not a huge fan of textures and I hardly ever (if ever) use them. but it's your style and I like it. also, the splashes are fantastic. you're off to a good start. :]
