Haha so... I made this in like, an hour. I discovered a tutty how to do manes/tails better, and I like this way much better. Um... I was also playing with the "Curves" for the first time, so be gentle! It looks plain to me, so any comments on things I could add are greatly appreciated! *grin*

COOLY. Ok so here ya go: On the feet, the fur gets a bit feathery and detail lost. Same goes for the tail. However the mane the most part is fantastic. Just try to add in more subtle harder brushes gradually while smudging/painting. Great work !!!

Yeah, I thought that too about the tail, but when I realized that I was already almost done and my teacher was kicking me out of the room xD
As for the feet, I wanted longer hair there, but there wasn't any before. Is there a better way to make it look natural? Should I get hair from another horse and just post it on there? Or is there something I'm missing?
And thanks! I think it's one of my favorites so far ^_^

Using 'hair horse feet' brushes or copy&pasting with played settings will work ok. Just remember to user good settings.IE: transparency smudging and layer settings. Adding a bit of a 'dirt and stain' to the feet fur would help with logics. Really its about keeping the fur strands in flow with the wind/movement and also keeping them in proper shape pending on where they sprout from/parts of body they lean against. Also, to use sharper stronger (but be subtle) brushes so form and shape can be established. LOGIC. It makes art hard. SHIT.

Gorgeous! I am loving the stock choices. The only thing that I find off is the feathers on the hooves. But everything else is great, loving the font choice and placement. In all, it's a beautiful image.
