I kind of like the one without texture the best..

So, I don't know if it's just me but the tail looks a bit light but that could just be my monitor as well.. Haha. Mm, maybe if you lightened up like the very outside edge of the horse to make it look like the sun was hitting it a bit?</sub>

I like it with texture, but I agree that the tail is to light.. and a bit stringy

I like the one without the texture. The light that the texture brings to the image causes it to lose some of its emotion, in my opinion.

I like both of them, but the one without texture is a bit smoother. The one thing I like in the textured one is that the horse had more highlights. I am assuming that this is becasue of the texture. Maybe if you could figure out a way to find those highlights in the first picture it might be look better from a 3 dimensional stand point. I, also, think that the tail needs to be filled out a bit. Other then that, you are set to go ^^

ok, i have a big problem with drawn in mane and tails. Its just a peave to me....
if you can, always just smudge the tail. and do the same with a drawn in mane and tail, it will help it look better.... ok? hope this helps. =]
