no. not every dog.
every pet.
the dogs of misty moments zoo are no pets. they are survivors. a handful of them were once pets, but one of two things happened to them; their humans no longer wanted them, or they no longer wanted their humans. collectively, they ended up here. the majority of the population is comprised of stray street dogs who ended up here, or dogs that were born here.
you see, misty moments zoo was once a thriving wildlife conservation zoo. when funds ran its owners bailed on the place. over time the abandoned zoo was forgotten. eventually, stray dogs found this place; and so did humans who no longer wanted their dogs. the dogs, with no other place to go, made the zoo their home.
the accessable exhibits provided perfect packlands with distinguishable boundaries. now dogs battle for the alphaship of these exhibit packlands, bloodlines are formed and made legacies, and the drama of these dogs lives are soap opera worthy.
around these parts, you'll hear a lot of crazy phrases. but "good dog" will never be one of them.

misty moments zoo was originally opened on february 29th, 2004, by paige. since then the site was passed down through ownership until it reached the current owner, jess, in july of 2004. The effort to keep the game has not been hers alone, however. she was co-owner to kat for some time. her own past co-owners have been punkhorse, shaddie, and shane. currently kash serves as an admin. but staff can not take all the credit. mmz would be nothing without its loyal players.
